Drama test and paper

October 20, 2009 rlk7910

The test wasn’t so bad. It was open book and open notes, so that was good. I read over the plays this past weekend, so I would know what its about. I knew a majority of the questions, there were some of em’ that I didn’t know. So, I put what I thought it was. I just didn’t realize that the test was so soon. I thought it would be at the end of the month. For the first test, she said it a week in advance, so I knew that it was coming up. For this one, I found out on the wednesday before. I guess its my fault for not looking at the syllabas. The drama paper is kinda confusing because I dont really understand it. I like the plays Othello and A  Doll’s House, but I just dont know how to write about it. I can talk about it, say what happened, and what I think about it. Its just the whole part of putting my thoughts on paper and making sure its a good paper. My Comp 1 teacher would give us A’s when we wrote the paper. As long as we wrote it, we got an A. At least theres the smartthinking thing on Blackboard, that helps out ALOT.

I agree the test was fairly easy. About the drama essay I understand what you mean I find it hard how to writte about the plays without summarizing throughout the entire essay. I find this writting assignment to be harder than the poetry essay especially since for this essay we have to compare two plays and not just talk about one like in the poetry essay.

well I am glad to see that I was not the only one having a problem with writing the drama paper. My hardest part of writing was understanding Shakespeare’s dialouge.
